Idea of the reenactment camp
Heydenwall's idea of the reenactment camp of the Burgmannentage Vechta is to create a reenactment camp that achieves a good quality of reenactment, trade and martial arts and cultivates a benevolent community interaction both internally and externally. By good presentation we want to understand a design of our own presentation that is science-oriented in all aspects and about which we want to exchange ideas together. The benevolent interaction we mean is reflected in word and deed as an open, appreciative and respectful approach on the part of all those involved.
As the organizing group, we have set a starting point in which we have tried to express this idea in easy-to-understand rules. As the organizing team, we want to put these up for discussion again and again in the spirit of this idea in the field of tension between the organizing museum, the reenactment camp and the audience. We see all those involved in the re-enactment camp as equals who are helping to shape this idea, and we trust in each individual person.
As a group, we see a self-imposed duty to set a good example with all these ideas and wish for the leniency that people who have acted in good conscience would wish for in the event of mistakes that we will probably make. We are counting on everyone involved to make an effort to help shape this event in a positive way and to discover and realize their own wishes and goals in the process. With this in mind, we hope for a positive, friendly development for all of us and for the event.
